THE GOSPEL OF THOMAS

The Gospel of Thomas, rejected by the Church, was discovered in 1945 among the famous manuscripts of Qumran. It dates from the first half of the first century after Christ and is therefore the oldest of the four Gospels accepted by the Church. These were later reworked in later centuries with additions and deletions, as recognized by the modern critical exegesis. From the Gospel of Thomas are illustrated well the thesis according to which the Gnostic Christ came to make us know the true God hidden and that the world was created by God rather than Arrogant, Jealous and boastful (the God of the Bible) together with the Archon. Here are some passages in that Gospel

Jesus said, "Whoever does not hate his father and mother can not be my disciple, and whoever does not hate brothers and sisters, and carry the cross as I do, will not be worthy of me. "
(for those familiar with Gnosticism, the father and mother are the makers of this world, very different from the Father hidden that Christ came to let us know)

Jesus said, The Father's kingdom is like a man who has the seeds. On the night of his enemy planted weeds among the seeds. The man did not want the workers to wrest the weeds, but he told them, 'No, otherwise you could end up pulling out the weeds to snatch up the wheat. Since the day of harvest the weeds will be many, and will be torn up and burned. "
(for those familiar with Gnosticism, the enemy is the God of the Bible maker of this world and the weeds are the sons of the majority ' humanity, and wheat are the children of God hidden)

Jesus said, "Show me the stone which the builders rejected, that is the keystone."
(for those familiar with Gnosticism, the stone are the few hidden children of God are not manufactured by the "builders" of this world)

Jesus said, "I will destroy this house, and nobody will be able to reconstruct it"
(for those who know the house is Gnosticism this world)

"Give the emperor what is the emperor, give God what is God, and give me what is mine. "
(for those familiar with Gnosticism, God, here is the maker of this world. The Church has so changed the verse: "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and give God what is God")

Jesus said, "Whoever knows the father and mother will be called the son of a whore."
(for those familiar with Gnosticism, the father and mother are the makers of this world)

Jesus said, "My disciples are like kids in a land that does not belong"
(for those who know Gnosticism, the ground is this world made the God of the Bible and the Archons).

Jesus said, "Many people flock to the front door, but it will be lonely to enter the bridal chamber."

Jesus said, "Whoever has come to know the world has discovered a carcass, and whoever has discovered a carcass of the world is not worthy."

Jesus said, "Whoever has come to know the world has discovered a corpse, and whoever has discovered a dead body is above the world. "

Jesus said," Those who try to seek until they find. When they find, is being hurt. When they are disturbed will be amazed, and they shall reign over all. "

Jesus said," If your leaders say, 'See, the Kingdom is in heaven,' then the birds of heaven will precede you. If they say, 'It's in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Instead, the Kingdom is within you and outside you. When you know you will be recognized, and understand that you are sons of the living Father. But if you do not know, then you will live in misery, and misery will be the same. "

Jesus said, "I will give you what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no hand has touched, what has not appeared in the hearts of men."

Jesus said, "If you leave the world, you will not find the kingdom"

Jesus said, "I tell you, whoever among you becomes a child will recognize the kingdom and become the largest"

Jesus said, "Blessed are those who are alone and chosen, for they will receive the kingdom. Since you come from there and return there."

Jesus said, "I took my place in the world, and they appeared to them in the flesh. I found them all drunk, and none thirsty. My soul has suffered for the children of humanity, because they are blind in heart and do not see, because they came into the world empty, and try to leave the world as well empty. But meanwhile they are drunk. When freed from the wine, they will change behavior. "

Jesus said," No prophet is welcome in their local area, the doctors do not treat their friends. "

Jesus said," If the blind lead the blind, both fall into a ditch. "

Jesus said," When you strip without being ashamed, and put your clothes under your feet like little children and destroy them, then you will see the son of the man who lives and you have no fear. "

Jesus said," Often you have desired to hear these words that I say, and had no one to listen. There will be days when you seek me and find me. "

Jesus said," If they say 'Where are you from?' tell them, 'We come from light, where the light came from him, it was established, and appeared in their image. 'If they say,' Who are you? ' say, 'We are his children, and we are the chosen of the living Father. 'If they ask,' What is the evidence that the Father is in you ' tell them, 'It is the movement and stillness. "

Jesus said, "I reveal my mysteries to those who are worthy. Let your left hand does not know what the right hand."

Jesus said, "Blessed are ye, when ye shall be hated and persecuted and there will be no place where you have been persecuted."

Jesus said, "The Father's kingdom is like a merchant who received a shipment of merchandise and found a pearl. The merchant was prudent; sold the merchandise and kept only the pearl. So you too, find the treasure which is eternal, that is, where no moth comes to gnawing worm, and no hurt. "

The disciples said, "Your brothers and your mother are out here. He said to them, "Those who do the will of my Father are my brothers and my mother. They are the ones who will enter the kingdom of my Father."

Jesus said, "Of those who found themselves, the world is not worthy"
